overwhelmed by her positive and heartfelt messages in her songs. There are

vocals. Her humble nature, carefree personality, and gospel-delic sound, makes

At a very young age, Green Tea began singing in the Church. As she matured,
her love of music extended far beyond the gospel realm. Influenced by the
culture and community of DC, her sound emulates the genres of soul, jazz,
rhythm and blues, opera, classical, and rock and roll. Green Tea’s love for
music has continued to expand and develop throughout the years. Not only is
she an avid listener of music, but she is a poetic lyricist speaking of experiences
learned through life which makes it very easy for all audiences to relate to her
subject matter. Whether she is warming up the stage for Julie Dexter,
Kindred the Family Soul, Yahzarah, Dead Prez, Fertile Ground, Chuck
