My experience with mining,
A few months back I started a new account on eve online. This was going to be my third account and he was going to be a miner to support my main account whit hum I can build stuff.
At first I had no idée how to start with the account, when selecting a career for my miner I selected everything even remotely connected to mining. It seems that was the smartest thing to do.
Later I started looking for advice how to start the skill plan needed to train a miner and get his skill up so he could fly a hulk. When I found out it could take three months or more I was a bit discouraged but I decided to go for it anyways. It toke me almost four months to get my miner in a hulk and let him use strip miner II and the mining crystals II needed to operate the strip miners..
Now that he is done training that I already got new plans for him because it seems mining is not only somewhat boring every now and then it just doesn’t generate as much isk as I was hoping for.
Mining can however still be profitable you just need a better knowledge of the market where to buy and sell ore or minerals and now the best places to mine or get friends in low security sectors where the rare and more expensive ore’s can be found.
For me mining will never be more then something on the side, if I can’t do missions…or…
If however you want to try mining out for yourself find the miners guide by Halade on Google, make sure however it’s the latest version!
For all you new guys mining out there good luck and fly safe!

For those that can’t wait for the “New Xbox Experience” upcoming wednesday, watch the video below. This is what you will see when you login for the first time.

I was getting excited when i read this:
* Version 1.1 of our Red Alert 3 Coop Loader will probably get released on Saturday 21:00 GMT!
* Yesterday we tried out our Coop loader on the 1.4 version of the Red Alert 3 - everything seemed to work perfectly so we decided to update our gameplay video (from the first post).
But now it’s already monday and still no sign of a Red Alert 3 LAN Coop v1.1 release. I wonder if there’s a problem with v1.1 and if they are planning to release it soon.
The good thing is that it works with the latest red alert 3 version (1.4 / 1.0.4) but damn, i can’t wait when it’s released.

Seems like that the first lan coop mode “hack” is released, there are still a few bugs however that needs to be fixed but apart from that its a nice release.
This page is dedicated to our first project - Red Alert 3 LAN Coop-enabling loader.
As we all know, Electronic Arts decided not to include Coop-Campaign functionality in LAN network menu of the game. We decided to change that - in result, you can now play any mission of your choice, with your friend, on LAN (or over Hamachi), without need of being connect to the internet (EA Servers). You bought the game so by all means, you deserve it!

While you’re waiting, we invite you to see what Quantum Rise will bring, check out the features page, and make sure you don’t miss the trailer linked on the right.
