I love the whole C&C Series. Im playing it since 199X i cant really remember anymore…
Now i wanted a beta key for the new red alert so bad and just missed that filefront event, seriously.. i was so sad.
Well then, if someone was so cool and saved up some keys and wants to give me one, then YOU a life of a guy much happier!

Hi HappyFace, like I wrote on the forum earlier I finaly got a working browser (FF3.0.1) what doesn’t cut the content at top of page cuz of an error (like IE6 did to me)… anyway:
plz, plz, plz… could I get one beta key, I’m a huge fan of Red Alert. I have been playing RA since the relese of the first game (was about 6-7 years old at the time) and RA2 from when it was new too. I have been playing RA for many years.
I used to play agains my brother who started at the end of RA the beginning of RA2, we used to play in a madrunning-like style combined with high income, high defence, huge armys & tactics. Even in high speed we played like in chess. After a lots of playing we became a lot better, and evolved our gamingstyle & tactics. We desided to create a RA3 Soviet Clan/Team and try our strengt online side by side. That was long before there was even a word about RA3 (cuz we knew it was gona come soon).
Our favorite faction is Soviet, Units is Kirov Airship & Apocalpse, music is HellMarch2, and scene is the Kirow Airchips slowly comming in over New York.
Both me and my brother have been trying to get a key ever since the beta started, but failed every single time. We are checking fileplanet almost everyday, but we have missed the event every single time so far (last time by 1 hour or so (the keys was all allready gone). ;( ;( ;(
We both got RA3 Client & Patch ready to install + wallpapers & HellMarch Ringtunes to the phones … lol … xD The only thing we nead is an unused beta key to install & vertify the client…
So… plz, plz plz plz… could I get one beta key… me and my brother are both huge fans of RA…
RA is the only RTS gameseries what rly mathers for us… If I get a key the first thing I’m gonna do is send it by SMS to my brother so what he can install and vertify the beta client, then I’m gonna install and vertify mine..

PS!… I doesn’t like the tiberium games at all.. the same goes for my friends so no one of us got/(or whant to buy) Kain’s Wraith… we rly doesn’t like TW & KW (because there is no USA vs. Soviet, only a crapy GDI vs. NOD).. so no one whants to spend money (in my case I can’t cuz I doesn’t have so mutch money the next few months cuz I have just left home for an own apartment.. only got enough money for the bills for the apartment, food & broadband).
so… plz, plz… could I have one of the beta keys..

BTW… Generali… the RA-series is not even close to generals… only so you know… Generals had it’s own style what could not be found in the tiberium- or RA-games… whell RA3 a little closer when RA2 (when it comes to graphics) but not at all when it comes to the gamestyle & gamespeed…
Generals got a very slow gamespeed (what totaly ruined the madrunning-style & the fastbuilding) and the action is on a normal Modern RTS level. + it’s USA vs. Terrorists vs. China in CnC Generals.
Red Alert on the other hand has has a fast gamespeed, and you can push the madrunning-style & thefastbuilding to it’s ultimate limits. It’s a “future cold war” where the technolegy is on a very high and futuristic level. It got lots and lots of massive action with speed, big explotions, big bombs & guns, and massive and cool scenes where you rly will feel the hair on your arms rising. It’s the Allied Force vs. the Soviet Union + one other faction (was Yuri back in the expansion Yuri’s Revenge, but now in RA3 it’s “The Empire of The Rising Sun”).
RA3 got it’s core based on CnC 3 TW, the filesystem, menus, graphic engine (probebly) the same.
It’s not like Generals, but it’s a game what I highly recomended you playing (if you haven’t played a RA game before), the RA-series is a gameserie what can only be described with “Wooow” or “Holy Shit, this is awsome”, it’s a serie what Westwood Studios are proud of.

I also didnt liked the Generals and Tiberium Wars series at all!
I mainly dont like the game-engine and generals also got a very bad main story so its not interesting to play it at all!
I just played and loved the Red Alert series!
The first time in my life ive seen a computer game was Red Alert when my father was playing it! At that moment i started loving that game! When i got older i bought all Red Alert parts that were on market and loved every moment of it…
Im watching on web everyday and hope to get a beta key for the next part of it, the bad thing is that i missed the filefront event. So im hoping every day that i get a key from you happyface!
And i agree to AlphaFrotg, Weswood Studios should be very proud of that RTS game series, its for me the most famouse and best game in this world.
Most parts that are not done by Westwood are total failure!

Yeah… most parts of CnC what are not done by Westwood Studios are totaly failures… like TW for example, it was made by EA Games alone (my guess is what Westwood Studios had their hands full with the RA3-project at the time, so what they handed the entire project over to EA Games… it’s just a guess, but I think this might be the case).
But RA3 is developed by Westwood Studios them self. I guess they want to put a “Westwood Studios Proudly Presents”-text in it, like they did with RA2. I also guess what they whanted to give it the specific RA-fealing what only a RA-game can give. The fealing of playing a game is a thing what only the orginal development team of the game can give.
One example is Diablo from Blizzard, there is not the same team devloping Diablo III what developed Diablo II, so Diablo III will just stay as a “Good Game” not “Great” as in Diablo II, the orginal team it self created the Diablo copy named “Mythos” with the exact fealing as Diablo II, the proect it self is put on freeze cus of money problem or soo.
As I get it, to relese a game under Electronic Arts you will have to become a part of the Electronic Arts company or some thing like that. Maxis for example, they are still Maxis but they belongs to Electronic Arts, so all their games is relesed as EA Games.
RA3 liks like it has the same fealing, gamestyle & speed as RA2. Even if it would happen to be completly different from RA2 (what is rly hard to beleve,cuz I have seen the game in action in videoclips everywhere + heard parts of HellMarch 3) I would still want to play RA3 no mather what (since I’m a fanatic-RA-geek/fan
lol…. I guess you have probebly seen the joke with the coffedrinker who is hospitalized with coffee going stright into the blod xD ).
No mather what I want to play RA all the way till the end and after.

Yeah RA3 is a part of my heart! This game inspires me when i saw it the first time. Im still playing RA1 and 2 on my pc because i dont really mind on graphics, and the feeling of playing those 2 games is much cooler instead of playing new stupid RTS games who are all not perfect…
But now where in RA3 is added a third faction by elecronic arts, it was just a boom for me to play this new part! Im burning to get a beta key! ( What sounds very silly lol. ) I could also phone my dad directly when i get the key! Because hes like me, a lover of the RA series.. he would be so happy to hear that RA3 is out and i got a beta key at the same moment.. im just waiting for it to get one.
RA3 is the perfection in RTS, its kinda one of the best gameplay also the freakest and coolest storyline ( putting together with all C&C parts ) and gots the freaking best game-music! ( HELLMARCH ) Everyone cant make any differences to any RTS game and Red Alert. Because RA is perfect.
Im waiting every second to get a key to test the new part out as long as i can, i hope, happyface, that you are gentle and know why i need the key more as other people who dont even know the mainly game at all.

Yeah… I’m also still playing it, the thing what rly mathers isn’t the graphics it’s the fealing. If a gamecreator can’t recrate the fealing then there is no nead for a new game as long as the fealing isn’t the right one.
A good example of a failure to recreate the fealing is “The Settlers V” it was a totaly failure in both the fealing and as a game, even if thev graphics was better. xD I think the total playing time I tested it was 15min or so, then I shutted it down and uninstalled it emeadietly after that.
Both me and my little brother are burning for RA, there for I hope what HappyFace will give me one to
PS!…. HellMarch is awsome! Had it as ringtune for my cellphone (extracted from the music.mix-file). I & my brother just love the intro movie for the orginal RA2 (when the Kirov Airships & Paratropers are all over the sky and the text “Westwood Studios Proudly Presents” appears on the screen, with the alams sounding there after. It’s just Awsome!!

Yeah.. I wish you good luck as whell, it would be fun to play a match one time :D… I have not been training so mutch the past year so I’m a little out of chape, but I’m currently training to come back to my old strenght once again.
The top of strenght was as highest 2004, at that time back there I was playing alone agains 7 allied brutal enemies with superweapons and highest gamespeed. But then my friend who used to play RA2 with us moved, and we didn’t met again. My brother took a break shortly there after, I continued to play, but since I had no one to play agains I took a break to. Next time I played I could barely fight agains 4 allied brutal with superweapons, I have stayed on that level since then. But now I’m trying to get back to my level again in order to try my strenght I once had agains others online. Me and my brother was back in 2004 equal in strenght, tactics, resources, defence & speed. We was using the same gamingstyle and tactics.
My goal is at the relese of the full game of RA3 to have gotten stronger then I was before, I what it to be 7 allied human players next, and I want to learn as mutch as possible of the game. I just can’t wait for the relese I just want to start my training in RA3 right away. A lots of fun & tough oponents awaits in RA3.

Hey man, Im soo grateful that your giving everyone a chance to get a key, well I’ve been playing Red Alert 2 since I was 5, I first saw it with my cousin, he was playing it and he let me try, he taught me how to do alot, as I played I learned alot and alot more and I still play Red Alert 2 until now, well anyways I would’ve gotten my own key, but I was in Malaysia all summer and came back on August 19, and I was exhausted so I didnt have time to go online, I didnt even know the RA3 was announced but on 25th I found out it has been announced and that they gave out beta keys on 23rd so I missed out on everything, so please if you can find it in your heart to give it to me I’ll be very grateful, please mail it to me on worlddominator95@hotmail.com

It’s nice to have a new face here, the face of another fan, 4133D.
But if it comes any more people it’s just gonna turn into one big sad story, where many people leaves without getting a key, after all it’s a limited number of keys. There is allredy a number of people who doesn’t get any keys.

PS!… don’t just write your e-mail just like that, you will just get spam on your e-mail addresses. I did it many years ago and I’m getting about 370-400 Japanese spam e-mails every mounth. There are “spam robots” scanning webbsites for e-mails. Instead of writing it ordenary just write it like this:

If i had to give a reason..it would be that I, being an avid fan of the games, have purchased the First Decade box-set after felling that my collection was a bit patchy and incomplete. Having 12 Command & Conquer games, i feel slightly ripped off after being told that i would need to purchase the newest installment of the series to play a simple beta trial of such a long awaited game.
This would not be such a problem usually, but my money is currently all going towards my starting university. This includes scraping money from selling items such as my car (sadface).
To add insult to injury, my xbox was deemed unusable by a technical fault yesterday and is now in Frankfurt for 3 weeks being fixed.

Im preparing for RA3 if i get the key hopefully! I already downloaded Comerade, it seems pretty cool its kinda a mix between game connection and chat program, i heared it should be like Steam!
Well i also hope W4133D gets a key, and im also still waiting for one.
I already phoned with my dad and still didnt told him that RA3 is coming and that a beta is out. If i get a key then i will tell him it will make him jump =D.

Thx Nejdez… whell yeah they said what they will stop letting people wo got Kain’s Wrait into the Beta, so they are probebly closing down registring for the beta for both keys from KW and FilePlanet, thats what I think.
The game it self will be relesed in at the end of “Red October”, so there will be about almost 2 mounths of waiting for those who are not in the beta.
I wish us all good luck, and I realy hope we 3 gets into the beta, it would be awsome to play online.

My parants said what they are gonna buy Command & Conquer 3 Deluxe Edition today (with KW (RA3 Beta key <— !!!) ….
If I’m lucky I will get into the beta alredy today
If that happends I will not be in a nead of a key.. So this is hopefully the beginning of mine,my brother & friends RA3 Clan….
Dunno what we are gonna call us (My Brother says “Crimson Wings”, my cousin “Black Tank”, my friends “whatever”), told my brother what if it’s gonna be as he says.. at least make it into “Ala Rubra” instead of the english version “Crimson Wings”… cuz I like Japanese more than english… it sounds mutch cooler then english….
and there are also a bunch of clans named “Crimson Wings” alredy, so how fun is it to be one of them? It’s mutch better to have something uniqe… just following the crowd and being “NORMAL” is no fun at all….
PS!…. They say on http://www.ea.com/redalert/beta.jsp what the beta will end at the mid-end of september ;( Thats one whole mounth without RA3! ;( ;(….. Aaaaawh….

Damn… they haven’t sended me an e-mail yeat… they seems quite slow in activating accounts…. It has been soon a week since I registered the key, they haven’t shown even a sign of doing anything… not even an e-mail confiring what I have even enterd a Beta Key from KW on their site… Have tried entering an another time just in case they didn’t get it…
If any of you from this site wo got any key are into the beta and playing now.. then please tell… If you are in and playing while I havn’t even got an e-mail confirming I’m in.. then there must be some problem, cuz we who got a key from KW are guarantied to enter the beta.
I will make an another try to vertify the beta client this afternoon, if I still doesn’t got one e-mail or if I can’t start the client…. Something might be wrong, (cuz shouldn’t the server send out an automatic letter telling what they got my beta key on the list for people waiting for being registrated??)
PS!.. Srry Nejdez I can’t join you in the orginal RA on GameSpy Comrade, my computer can’t run 16-bit programs currently (+ I can’t use IPX), have tried to install Linux a couple of times, but I still can’t boot the OS… all settings in GRUB seems OK…… I hate Bill for “comming up with”/(copying/rip off/stealing) an OS as dumb as Windows

i just talk to ea and there saying the beta will close in mid september…and since 12 is the last day so i think all of us who didnt got the chance to play the beta even will have to wait for the demo or the game in october…

EA still haven’t sended me a e-mail confirming my registration… Have tried to register about 4-5 times now, with 2 different e-mail addresses… still nothing…..not even in the spam… Have sended a message to the EA Support about it, asking them to register and activate the key for me, since nothing happends…
They are now saying on http://www.ea.com/redalert/beta.jsp the following things:

… I registrated long before they said what “All” the people with KW was activated, and still they have not activated me…
If you on this site have not registrated the beta keys by now, then it will be hard do get into the beta.

they said they activated keys after every month.from june to september…
there just yanking you..just tell them that i got applied the key 2 months ago and still havent got the key

My beta key I got from Kain’s Wraith is broken…. ;( ;( (big cries)… I missed the event… and now when I have got Kain’s Wraith the beta key is broken…
the only thing left now for me (what I’m just waiting for now to happend) as a dot over the “i” for my bad luck is for a meteor to crash in my bikecyckle…. (prety sure it will happend, since my GeForce 7950GX2 graphic card just broke a week ago and I had to buy a GeForce 8800GTS second hand from my savings).
The chance to get a broken key is about 1 on 10000 or 1 on 100000… And I just had to be that 0.0001% to 0.00001% to get a broken key during the RA3 beta… I mean … and the number of beta keys is not even that many… so I’m most likely the only one in the entire beta getting a broken key….
plz, plz, plz… HappyFace, can I please have one of the 2 ones what is left?…. please.. I begg you… I just can’t stand waiting seing my friends on the internet playing the beta while I with a broken key from KW have to wait another month watching the others having fun….plz… I’m a huge fan, and have been playing the RA games since relese… I have been playing RA both day and night for ages…
so plz HappyFace…

Have tried all kinds of different versions of the key… the setup says it’s broken… the Website it’s invalid (no response if invalid key)… it’s just no possibilitys left of it being readed wrong… have tried it about 30-50 times or so… This is my last and only hope left of getting a key……. so plz I begg you HappyFace, plz give me one of them….

unlike some people i dont have a broken key and nor do i have kane wrath released in my country ..i had to download it just to play it…so plz if u have an extra key plz give it to me..i been asking all around if anyone has a beta key and my search is in despair..so if u have an extra key plz give it to me…dont think this kind gesture you will do will go in vain instead i will be very thankful and hopeful that if u ever need anything you could always ask me for it.i hope u can understand this situatuion from my piont of view…

Hello everyone, nice to see that more people are looking for a key, well.. soon the beta will end, i mean very soon… and it seems like happyface wont give them out yet. It may ends next week, and seriously, i dont know why hes giving them out that late, it has been weeks now… =(
Well i already phoned my dad and told him that ra3 comes out and that i wont be able to get beta key cuz the beta is nearly at an end…
I hope well match eachother on RA3 someday.

Yeah… it’s preaty sad… I mean… we all realy whanted to play the beta… I was realy happy when I got a key from Kain’s Wraith… but now it is as it is… I guess what errors occurs while the keys is generated… so there might be an key some times what is falsely generated… whell there is no thing as a perfectly made program code, there are always at least some errors.
Whell there is still 1.5-2 days left… I guess this is see you later at the end of November maybe.. whell I guess I’m gonna take one last check on the morning of 15:th, then guess I will have to wait for a while..
Whell good luck everyone, maybe we will met in RA3 oneday… but that might as whell never happend… whell see you later, comrades..
