Hi,

Here is a beta release of my googleSearch application as promised in one of my previous posts.
Download it here: http://www.engineeringserver.com/Software/googleSearchBeta.rar
Run it by clicking on the googleSearch.jar icon.

This version supports both FireFox & Internet Explorder.

Known issue(s):
- I havent coded a custom exception handler so when you can’t connect to the net or recieve a timeout when trying to search the application will show an error. I will solve this in a later release but i’m aware of it.
- Multiple instance of the googleSearch application and saving will result in corrupt savefiles stored in “history.data” I will fix this in a later release.
- webbrowser paths are currently hardcoded in this release only! This will be fixed in a later version so that the user can specify their browser path(s) in the option/settings menu.

What’s not added in this release but will be added soon:
- No pagerank support for search results
- No “Results 1 - 10 of about 14,500,000 for someKeyWord“
- Keyword popularity for site x
- ..suggest me a cool feature that you want..?
